Originally created to celebrate the World Cocoa and Chocolate Day on 1st October, the first «Rallye du Chocolat©» was born in Geneva in October 2015.
Rallye du Chocolat is a fun and gourmet walk in town to encounter artisan chocolate makers. The participants with « choco-passport » go to the shops taking part in the Rallye and taste a chocolate creation, find out the words of the mystery sentence to enter the sweepstake and finally vote for their favourite chocolate maker.
Fifteen chocolate makers allocated in 3 different routes (A, B, C) are taking part in this year’s gourmet challenge.
NEW: the 2018 Geneva Rallye du Chocolat expands its activities in the Plainpalais Town Hall and offers workshops throughout the day: introduction to chocolate tasting and chocolate with tea tasting. Reservation is available from Wednesday 26 September 10:00 until Friday 5 October 12:00. The number of seats is limited to offer you the best experience quality possible. Maximum number of people per session is 16. Eight seats can be booked online via the ticketing platform, and the remaining 8 will be available on site. Please contact us, should you wish to book for a group of more than 8 people.

This passport includes:
- A leaflet with information and a map of Geneva indicating the location of the Rallye chocolate makers on each predefined route.
- A ballot paper* to vote for the best chocolate maker and take part in the sweepstake.

To take part in the sweepstake, the player will find a ballot paper in the choco-passport, on which s/he should:
- Write down the mystery sentence of the route
- Answer to a quiz
- Show his/her visit in each shop thanks to the custom punched hole on the paper
- Vote for his/her favourite chocolate maker
- Slip this completed paper in the ballot boxes available in each shop.
Important: the ballot paper must be duly completed to be valid for the sweepstake.
